Esera Tuaolo, OUT former NFL football player and NBC’s The Voive contestant talks about his life and his anti- bullying program

Join Kelli & Anne for their 33rd new episode.

First they talk about their road trip to Provincetown, MA to interview Esera in this brand new remote podcast taped on location. On the trip they listened to David Sedaris' new book Calypso and here they give a quick review of that book. They also discuss some questions that listeners suggested like irrational fears and what would you tell your 16 area old self now. Next they talk about all of their favorite places in Provincetown, from hotels to restaurants to clubs and music venues.

Next they are joined by special guest, OUT former NFL football player Esera Tuaolo. They talk about how they first met Esera on an R Family Vacations trip 15 years ago with his kids. Next Esera talks about his esteemed football career and what it was like to be a closeted gay man in the NFL for so long and what went into his decision to come out publicly in 2002.

Esera is also heavily involved with Hate In Any Form is Wrong, and anti-bullying program.  Hear more about how you can be involved on their website.

Finally Esera talks about his journey as a contestant on NBC's The Voice as part of Team Blake and how that has led to his music and performance career really taking off.

As always they end with a specialty cocktail from Equality Vodka. In honor of Esera, they are serving up The Pitch Perfect!
